Despite President Trump’s executive order, thousands of children remain separated, including 148 children in LIRS’s care who, along with countless other unaccompanied children fleeing never-ending violence in Central America, urgently need transitional foster care.
$250 can provide clothing for a separated child in foster care for 60 days.

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) is the only organization in the country that walks alongside unaccompanied children throughout their entire journey in the United States. We work with network partners across the country to provide a full continuum of services for children and vulnerable youth, from foster care to family reunification.
