<div>What she thought and was told was a stomach ulcer turned out to be an aggressive stomach cancer tumour.

<div>After a transfusion, Lindsay needed to quickly decide what her next steps were and while she was contemplating how to move forward, her tumour ruptured - meaning that she had to get her entire stomach removed.

<div>Being the trooper that she is, Lindsay survived and is adjusting to life without a stomach but she is still in chemotherapy and undergoing treatment to clear the cancer.
