Linfield Protest T-Shirts

When we started with this idea for a t-shirt protest, we hoped for 20 or 30 students to participate. Instead we ended up with over 80 students hoping to be a part of this change!!! Which is great, news, but now we need your help covering as much of the cost of these shirts by August 15th!
We appreciate your support for Linfield students protesting the continued inaction by the Linfield administration in regards to sexual assault by a former member of the Board of Trustees of multiple students, the dismissal of the faculty vote of no confidence in the current chair Board of Trustees, as well as the culture around sexual harassment and assault on the Linfield campus. We encourage you to read articles that have been written by The Linfield Review, The News Register, and The Oregonian for more detail about the events that have shaken the Linfield community.
Students will be participating in a passive protest by wearing t-shirts and handing out flyers during the upcoming freshmen move-in weekend. We intend for this protest to raise awareness and create a healthy dialogue with students, parents, and other Linfield community members around the subject of sexual assault, while putting pressure on the current administration to take immediate action, listen to their students, and respect their faculty and staff. Donations will go towards covering the cost of these shirts, relieving the students from the burden of funding it themselves. Each shirt costs $12 and will be printed locally by Type A Press, who is kindly printing these for us at cost.
We are grateful for the support of the local community and are eager to amplify the voices of more students on the Linfield campus through this protest. Any donation helps us meet our goal to fund this project!
