Lindy's Funeral Expenses

With a heavy heart, we ask for your assistance with our mother's funeral costs.

Anyone that knew Lindy knows she was a nurturing, young-hearted, and fun woman. She saw the best in people and felt everyone was worth saving. She always stood up for the underdog and helped anyone less fortunate than herself. As a mother she was nurturing and raised all her children to be moral and compassionate people. In addition to her 5 children, she took care of several young adults she fondly called her "adopted children."

Years ago, our Mom was disabled due to back injuries. Later, she developed COPD and other health conditions. Our family believed that insurance would help with the cost of the funeral and related expenses. However, juster after she passed, we discovered that insurance would not help in any way.. At this time, most of the funeral expenses are unexpectedly having to be absorbed by her children. Lindy leaves behind 5 children; CJ (21), Savanna (23), Jacklynn (24), Chad (35) and Katrina (37). She also leaves behind 5 young grandchildren.

Flowers are being provided by a gracious donor. In lieu of sending flowers, we ask for donations to help cover her funeral expenses and headstone. We are expected to take on $3500 for the service, $4600 for the burial/gravesite, and $500-$1000 for the headstone. Any extra funds will be allotted for the headstone, which has not yet been chosen.

The funeral is scheduled for Friday, June 22, 2018.
