<div>Hi friends, I'm Kimberly and I'm fundraising for my sweet friend and amazing nurse, Lindsey Hyatt. She recently had a stroke which has impaired her vision and she's also had reactions to medications. She's suffered for many years from genetic disease flares and had an emergency appendix surgery before Christmas.

<div>Lindsey could use financial help for stroke and vision rehab, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, necessary injections, and Ubers to her check-ups -- she just found out vision therapy isn't covered by insurance and she needs to go to 12 weeks of it, plus the initial evaluation is $600. The cost to work towards repairing vision alone will be $3,000. It's an unfortunately ongoing and long journey. Also, she doesn't know when she'll be able to work again, so there are rent and basic living costs as well.

<div>I don't know why the best people get the hardest battles, but she's so generous and kind, she loves helping others, and she rarely complains. She would always shout out her gym, bodyworkers, trainers, sing the praises of anyone she loved with maximum enthusiasm, and show up with a smile on her face and keep on fighting in the gym to do whatever she was capable of.
