Lindsey & Chris Rees Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund

HURRICANE RELIEF FOR LINDSEY (BORSZ) REES & FAMILY:

Lindsey (Borsz) Rees is from Parma, Ohio (St. Charles Borromeo ‘97, Holy Name High School ‘01, Ohio University ‘05) and has lived in The Bahamas for over 10yrs. She and her husband Chris Rees and their 10 month-old son Jonathan reside in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, where Lindsey is a high school science teacher at Forest Heights Academy.  They are physically ok in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, but their home and belongings are gone and the community they have loved is completely unrecognizable. Lindsey’s school is catastrophically damaged to the extent that the entire school year has been cancelled. Everything is uncertain as they think about next steps to rebuild their lives and community.  The devastation is incomprehensible.

DONATIONS FOR REES FAMILY:
A large number of family, friends, and even complete strangers have reached out asking how they can help Lindsey and Chris. After carefully considering a number of options, the family has setup this GoFundMe campaign. The donations will go directly to Chris and Lindsey for their dispersement. 

MAILING RELIEF SUPPLIES:
There is not yet an option for mailing relief supplies to the Rees’s directly but we have confirmed with Tropix Shipping that relief packages (first aid kits, diapers, formula, wipes, tents, tarps, chainsaws, generators, flashlights, batteries, canned goods, granola bars..etc.) can be mailed or Amazon shipped to their drop off address too:
