My name is Lindsay Dowd and I am a passionate yoga instructor with deep roots in the Bay Area, originally from San Jose, California. In light of the devastating wildfires that have ravaged parts of Los Angeles, I aim to use my platform and practice to raise much-needed funds for those affected by this crisis.
The wildfires have left countless families in dire need—homes destroyed, schools wiped out, and entire neighborhoods devastated. While the fires have thankfully been contained, the work to rebuild these communities is far from over. My upcoming charity yoga class on February 7th at 7 PM is an opportunity to come together, center ourselves, and make a tangible impact.
This free, all-levels class is designed to help people find a moment of peace and balance, and creating and sending uplifting vibes while contributing to a crucial cause. All donations and proceeds from the class will go directly to fire relief efforts, ensuring that these funds reach the families and communities that need them most. If you're unable to attend, I encourage you to consider making a donation—no contribution is too small, and every bit helps in this long road to recovery.
By joining in, you’re not just practicing yoga; you’re supporting the people who have lost everything and giving them a chance to rebuild their lives.
