My name is Jeff Buziak, and I am the father of Lindsay Buziak, who was gruesomely murdered in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, in 2008. She was 24. She received suspicious phone calls at her office at RE/MAX Camosun just days before. Despite her hesitancy, she met with a couple to show them the home and didn’t make it out alive.
Even though it’s been 14 years, for me, it feels like the investigation is on day one. Until now, with your support.
The RCMP investigation appears at a standstill. In 2012, I offered a $500,000 reward for the tip that led to her killers, which didn’t yield anything. Since then, I’ve exhausted nearly all my resources in the pursuit of justice and continue to owe more, including a lawsuit I'm currently fighting, along with two others, for our efforts to find Lindsay's killers.
And that is why, with a heavy heart, I’ve started this fundraiser and asking for your help.
Your support will fund:
- Launch a private investigation & confidential tip line. I am working with the highly respected investigation company Zonta Research Group, which will take a fresh look at the case, revisit old leads, and test new theories.
- A professional media campaign will raise awareness about Lindsay’s unsolved murder through posters and sponsored social media posts.
