Lindie Fern Swift Medical Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday March 4th we welcomed sweet little Lindie Fern Swift into the world. This tiny little girl was only 5 lbs 11 ounces and 17.5 inches long. Shortly after her birth we learned that it is highly probable that little Lindie has Down syndrome. Lindie Fern was admitted to the NICU, since arriving we discovered that she has an obstruction in her duodenum which is causing her to throw up most of what she eats, which then has caused her to have pneumonia. We also discovered that she has two heart abnormalities and is jaundiced. She has already begun antibiotics for pneumonia and is being treated for jaundice. She had surgery on her duodenum Thursday March 9th. Lindie continues to recover well. She's breathing completely on her own and showing signs of healing. Doctors are thinking it will be a week before we start introducing food and maybe a few more weeks in the hospital. Pray for her continued recovery- that she would not get any infections and that her digestion would begin to function properly.  Every little bit helps with the medical expenses that have and will be incurred during this difficult time, thank you!!
