WHAT IS BELL'S PALSY?
Paralysis of the facial nerve, causing muscular weakness in one side of the face.
HOW IS IT CAUSED?

My beautiful mother Linda was officially diegnosed with Bell's Palsy on January 24th 2017. It's a condition that usually causes one side of the face to go slack (muscle weakness). In her case it is the right side of her face. This can be caused by many things, one of them being stress. If you know my mother, you know that she stresses over everything.
Well recently she has been going through a rough patch. We moved to Arkansas to be closer to family and for her health amongst other reasons. She stressed about getting health coverage for her to receive her medications. While we are aware that there is covereage through the state the process is long and also doesn't account for income.
Luckily, she landed a job and applied for health care. However, before she could receive proper healthcare she lost her job January 16th. Timing not being the best she ran out of the medication needed (blood pressure medication). The concern of not knowing where to get her medication and the fact that she had never lost a job before caused her a great deal of stress. Fast forward to January 23rd exactly a week later. She was spending the night at my house because the wonderful women she is stayed late to watch my babies so I could work late that Sunday.
I woke her up while I was getting Leo ready for school, so we could have coffee and watch CNN. If you know her, you know that CNN is on round the clock :). Thats when I noticed that her face was slacking on her right side. Initially I was scared out of my mind because I thought she had a stroke! I told her "mom look in the mirror I'm taking you to the hospital." She let me drive her and that says a lot, because my driving scares her.
That in turn led to her having Bell's Palsy and why I am making a gofundme.
My Mother, Miss Linda or Miss Freeman however you know her as. She has done a lot for a lot of people and she always does the most that she can. She sat with me while I had my baby 3 months early and held my hand during the c-section. She visited me every day while I was in the hospital and financially supported me and my two kids when I couldn't.
It it hurts me that I can't give her the world in return right now. That's why I am reaching out to everyone who's lives she may have impacted, friends and family and ask that you donate to her in her time of need. It would be greatly appreciated. Anything would help, just so she can manage some bills without stressing over them.
