Help Lina Abu Younis , Aysel & Sanad Survive the Siege in Gaza
My name is Ahmed Nur from Wales and I am the organiser of this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Lina Abu Younis who is trying to survive the brutally inhumane conditions in Gaza.
While doing research into the ongoing crisis in Gaza, I met Lina through Snapchat. lina’s story is one of resilience, strength and a mothers unbreakable love for her children.I asked if I could share her story and she was more than happy to share.
For a second I couldn’t digest what I had read when I received this text from Lina.
“‼️I am from Gaza, my children are hungry, and I have two small kids. Every day we suffer from hunger and pain, and all I wish for is a meal to satisfy my children and ease their suffering. We live under very difficult conditions because of the blockade. Our hope is strong in God, and also in those who will hear our voice and respond. We ask everyone to help us and share our message, as every bit of support, even just a word, lightens our burden."‼️
Today Lina needs ongoing support to stay alive.
She has:
No access to food - prices are ridiculously high price for bag of flour is 800$/ bread 12$ /cooking oil 40$.
With prices skyrocketing Lina is having to resort to feeding her children salt and water or sometimes they go to sleep with nothing.
No access to clean water
Safe water is impossible to find with the unsafe water being unaffordable
No access to medical supplies
Lina is scared for Sanads health texting me she’s afraid due to his persistent cough n that she’s unable to cure him of any diseases
Run out of money-
Due to high prices Lina has run out money to buy any food, n due to gazas infrastructure collapsing she has nothing to fall back on n left to fend for herself
Displaced in Gaza in a place called al-Mawasi
Despite everything she’s been through Lina still radiates strength n resilience.
Before the war-
Lina (30) was in the midst of opening up her own medical laboratory named after her baby Aisel.
Imagine going from opening up your own business where you take care of peoples health just for that dream to be wiped away due to external factors. forced to fend for yourself in an unforgiving climate.
This is the lab after it got struck down by an Israeli airstrike. luckily Lina n her family were safe.

Living conditions-
Now Lina lives in a worn out tent made from blankets n douvet covers, which can barely protect her n her family from the harsh elements. Fuel to light fires for cooking are running scarce. Lina’s heart aches because of her inability to provide for aysel n sanads basic needs “mama I’m HUNGRY!” that’s what she hears from their innocent voices, confused n too young to understand the dire situation they are in.
This fundraiser is their lifeline

Transparent Transactions-
All of the donations go to lina. There are transaction fees 14% on PayPal and go fund mes fee which is being covered by myself. All funds go to an account and from that account It gets sent it straight to Lina’s iban account which is preferred or through to her friends PayPal where she is able to collect donations.
