Lily's Fight to Survive

My mother was recently diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer for the 2nd time. She was told 16 years ago when she was first diagnosed that she only had months to live. She beat the odds and has been cancer free for the past 15yrs. On Friday Nov. 3rd our world stopped once again! She was given the news that her only chance of survival would be to receive proton radiation in a facility miles away from where she is now.

I can not begin to tell you what this news has done to my mother and our entire family. Learning of her new diagnosis and prognosis has torn my family apart and has made us have to make huge life changes, like quiting our jobs and moving just to be with her through this nightmare. We know she suffered through her first treatment but look how long she survived! Going through the hell of treatment again was something she was not willing to do ( most people who have been through it would agree) but she sees her loving family and how much it breaks our hearts to let her just give up!! I want my mom to fight! I want her to prove to the skeptics and doctors who say she only has months to live that she can and will beat this again! She is a fighter and God is the Almighty Healer! Through God all things are possible so I am asking you to please, from the bottom of your hearts, keep us in your prayers to be strong enough to support her through this journey and for her to beat this and come out stronger than she was before! Amen!
