<div>The Lily House service model is unique amongst providers as it is far more than a women’s shelter or accommodation provider. The aim is to provide a home environment where women and children feel safe and nurtured and are provided with a wraparound support to heal and grow. Residents are impacted positively by the culture of the house and the values under which it operates with many women becoming part of the sisterhood of the extended Lily House family.

<div>Lily House has operated for over 14 years and does so with no Government funding. We operate with three part time workers and a wonderful volunteer workforce and provide for our residents from the generosity of donors and grant monies. To date we have sourced premises from the private rental market.

<div>In January, however, we received a life changing gift that has given us a wonderful property in Woombye that will be Lily House’s forever home. The property has a beautiful chapel that is being re-modelled into a home which will provide sanctuary for more women and their children in the Sunshine Coast.

<div>Whilst we have been able to secure some funding to remodel we now find that these funds are not sufficient to complete the necessary work.
</div>

<div>Please help us to finish Lily House's forever home and secure a place where love and hope can be brought to local women and children in the worst times of their lives.
