Lil's Lung Cancer Medical Fund

Donation protected
Lillie is 59 and on Social Security Supplimental. She does not qualify for Medicare Disability.
She has had a number of health problems and just recently has been diagnosed with lung cancer, devastating news that unexpectedly came out of nowhere.
She already has a mountain of medical bills for all the tests, procedures, etc she has already had that insurance has not covered.
She has always been a very self-reliant,responsible person, but this is a battle she cannot face without the help and generosity of others.
Any Savings has been depleted, and she has no resources to cover the ongoing costs involved with life-saving treatments she is receiving.
Her cancer is aggressive but her doctors are hopeful that intervention via Chemo and Radiation with following surgery will beat it.
I am afraid I have waited too long before asking for help, and,of course, the normal bills we all have keep piling up, as well.
Please consider helping to save this wonderful woman's life.
Any donation you can spare is sincerely appreciated.

May God Bless you and yours.

And now for the "rest of the story" from Lil:

"I had been suffering from what developed into excruciating pain which no Doctors could diagnose. My pain started several years ago. I went to several Doctors who said it was inflammation and to take Tylenol. I knew it was more than this but could not get anyone to do a complete evaluation. Finally my spouse convinced a Doctor to write a script for an MRI. He setup the MRI at a local hospital. When I came out of the MRI the attending nurse told my spouse that they did not feel comfortable sending me home as I was in so much pain. So they moved me to the emergency room where things started to go right after all this time. The attending physician recognized an irregularity in the MRI images and immediately ordered a CT with contrast where they discovered a fist sized growth in the upper lobe of my right lung. The pain was caused by this tumor pushing the lung against the nerves near the spine in my back. This explains why my right arm went numb and the pain in my side and chest.
I have a great Oncologist now who is treating this very aggressively with Chemo and Radiation. Of course the treatments have their side effects; nausea, constipation, dehydration, skin irritation, loss of hair (I have lost all my long black hair), etc.
The course of action is to complete the regimen of Chemo and Radiation and then to surgically remove the tumor with a probable resection of my right lung. I have but to have faith in the doctors and the lord."

God Bless all who have showered me with prayers and support.
