Lilly needs our help

Shortly after moving to Colorado to be with Michael while he attended school to change his career, I found myself lonely in a new place. I eventually found love in the mountains and in our newly adopted puppy, Lilly. I was so happy to have her company and cuddles (she is the most cuddly pup)! Michael and I are both finishing up our educations and we are currently on the hunt for jobs. As exciting as this time should be for us, our pup is sick for the third time since adopting her two months ago. She is only 7 months old and has such a long life ahead of her! We have been battling with the idea of giving her up, due to our financial situation, or racking up the credit card bill to help her get better. With our impending student debts, and unemployment statuses, we are at a loss for what to do. We have spent more than $5,000 since we have adopted her and she is currently still battling this sickness. We recently transferred her to a new specialty hospital, which is more expensive than the vet we have been seeing. The veterinary doctors that have been on Lilly's case are awesome and we are exhausting every possible situation before having to make the difficult decision to give her up. If we give her up, we are unsure what will happen to her and that is what scares us the most. We are so grateful for the time we've had with her because she has given us so much joy but we are heartbroken to think that we may lose her. Any money that we raise will help us to pay back our debt from her hospital and medication expenses. We will be incredibly grateful to anyone who can help us.
