Help Supply Uniforms for our Girls!

Please help us get our girls off to a GREAT start by helping to supply each new Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School scholar with a full uniform for the upcoming school year!

LMCJ is an all girls public charter school serving 5th-8th grade scholars opening on August 24, 2015 in Baltimore City. Regular school attendance is critical to receiving a solid education and having a uniform policy helps reduce distractions to place the focus where it should be - on learning. Although families are purchasing their own uniform, often just one uniform is not enough and purchasing multiple uniforms quickly gets expensive. 

In order to proactively help prevent the absenteeism that can at times come as a result of a student not having a uniform to wear to school, whether due to the results of damage or simply because it needs cleaning, we are striving to provide each scholar with one additional set of uniform clothing, at no cost to the families. So, we invite you to help us- whether by purchasing a gym t-shirt for a scholar with a $15 contribution to purchasing the entire uniform set which includes a jacket, skirt/pants, logo uniform polo shirt and gym t-shirt for $100, or any donation amount in between. Every single dollar helps!!

If you are feeling extra generous, we encourage you to help us meet our goal of providing one-to-one student technology by supporting the cost of a Google Chromebook for each scholar to use. Chromebooks purchased will remain in school and be provided for use in class and enrichment settings. The ability to navigate technology and incorporate its use into all aspects of learning is a core skill that each scholar will learn during her time at LMCJS.
