Jillian Lenae Hackett New York Fashion Week

As many people now know, in November of 2019, I was invited by Oxford Fashion Studio (a London based fashion company focused on gaining independent fashion designers exposure and recognition). I was asked to present an 8-Look Collection at New York Fashion Week for the Spring and Summer 2022 Season.
As of today, this event is just about one year away. Meaning all the preparation I have undergone these past ten months is about to be put into motion. I have already begun paying for runway expenses, models, and other production expenses over the past several months. At the same time, acquiring the necessary sewing equipment to design and construct these 8-looks successfully. I have been able to pay these expenses due to payment plans alongside my savings.
New York Fashion Week is a fantastic opportunity that has the potential to possibly jump-start my career draws nearer as do additional expenses that I do not currently have the means to handle on my own.
These expenses include but are not limited to; material costs to bring the complete collection to life (fabric, thread, notions, specialty equipment), travel expenses to New York City (for myself and the garments), lodging during my time in New York, photography and styling expenses, shoe rental expenses, and any other expenses that have yet to be seen thus far.

All funds received will be utilized beginning in this November to order the final fabrics (materials), through September of 2021 as they are needed as expenses have been required in chunks through the process this far, and will continue to be needed periodically.
I truly am forever grateful for any support I may receive; this will be the event that will jump-start my fashion career that many designers only dream of. Thank you for your everlasting and continuous support. I hope to make every one of you proud this time next fall.
