At some point in every person's life we are all forced to deal with difficult situations. When Bianca and Eric found out they were expecting a baby girl in April 2019 they couldn't have been more excited. Adding to your family is one of the most joyous blessings we are given. At around 23 weeks pregnant Bianca and Eric were told that their daughter would be born with a heart problem, this turned out to be a high risk pregnancy. Bianca was also diagnosed with IUGR, meaning Liliana was not growing at the rate she should be. After careful monitoring Bianca's doctor felt it would be best to deliver early. She went for her very last check up before the induction and Liliana was not moving as much as she should. Bianca and Eric were told then they needed to go straight to the hospital for induction. Liliana was born Saturday April 6th, 2019 weighing 4lbs 8oz. Even though Liliana was born early and was small she was strong and was thriving well. They were expected to all go home together on that Monday. Last item on the checklist was a heart ultrasound at which it was discovered Liliana had a more serious heart condition that would require immediate attention. Instead of going home Liliana was airlifted to St. Vincent NICU in Indianapolis. Bianca and Eric's hearts were broken as their daughter flew away without them. Immediately after they left for Indy themselves. Liliana has ASD, VSD and a Coarct Aorta. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday 4/17/19 with an expected recovery time of approximately 4 weeks, all in Indy. Bianca and Eric as well as their 3 year old son Christian will continue to be in Indianapolis through this time. Medical expenses as well as living expenses in a situation that requires you to be away from your home for an extended period of time is difficult to manage. Eric and Bianca continue to be strong and place their faith in God's hands.  Any help for this beautiful family during their difficult journey is appreciated.

"Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name. You are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up, the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God. Isaiah 43:1-3
