Lilah Pooh Bear's Medical Bills

At our wedding, our ring bearer (Lilah) and loving animal companion of our great friend, Ben Brown, was hit by a truck going way too fast.

We rushed her to emergency services, and she is expected to make a full recover.  She is still very nervous and in a lot of pain, and Ben was saddled with $1300 dollars worth of vet bills.

We are hosting a party, but for those that cannot make it, any amount will help us relieve Ben of the steep medical expenses.  

A little about Lilah and Ben:  Last year, Ben was diagnosed with brain cancer.  While in the hospital after surgery, we begged and finaggled, and pleaded and pushed and prodded to have them let us bring his dog (now his registered service animal for emotional support).  When they did, we brought her up and she immediately jumped up on the bed and curled up by his side.  They are inseperable.  When Ben was sick, she and we rallied around him.  Now his dog is sick and he already has his own medical expenses, so anything his friends and family can do to help is so very much appreciated.
