In the midst of all this chaos, my furry best friend had to be rushed to the emergency vet this morning. I could tell something was wrong - he was in severe pain and couldn’t sit without crying. 

It turned out that Roku has a major crystal cluster blockage in his urinary tract, and the only options were emergency surgery or euthanasia...fortunately with the help of Care Credit I was able to choose the former because they temporarily lent me the funds to go through with it.

I myself had to undergo emergency surgery in January, which is something I am currently still indebted to. So naturally, this news about Roku came as a complete shock.

I am beyond grateful that I have the chance to save my boy, but this is a major blow to me both financially and emotionally. These are trying times for everyone, I know that. I am only asking for help if you have the means to do so, and if you can’t help financially please hug your pet a little tighter for Roku
