Me and My Dream:
My name is Murphy Roeder and I am an aspiring entertainer. Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to make people laugh, smile, and feel happy. I am a singer, actor, voice actor, eclectic instrumentalist, and overall entertainer. Since the beginning of my years I have been exposed to music, and it has become a staple in my life. From there I have taken part in choirs, plays, operas, bands and orchestras, and have always found joy in performing for others.
The Trip (IMTA):
Recently I have been presented with an opportunity to take part in an event called IMTA (International Model and Talent Association). I will be traveling down to Los Angeles for this event and will be performing in front of hundreds of talent scouts and agents.
The event will occur through the week of January 9th-13th. During that time I will be participating in competitions, workshops, and seminars. IMTA is the world's leading talent event desinged to promote emerging talent to leading agents, managers, and casting directors. This event will help to put the development of my entertainment career on hyper drive and experience the many worlds of acting, singning, and modeling.
The Costs:
Through auditions and interviews with my local talent agency I’ve been able to get this far, but my final hurdle is one of finances. The cost of a performer to attend the event is a little under 5,000 dollars. The break down of costs is as follows:
- Preperation Meetings
- Hotel Costs
- Registration and Badge
- Fees for Participation in Competitions
- Program Book Headshot
- Admitance Fees to Workshops and Seminars
- Meetings with Agents, Managers, and Casting Directors
- Audition Costs for Talent Showcase
- Management and Marketing Services
- Proffesional Hair and Makeup Services
To the best of my ability, I am to make 6 payments of 400 dollars within about three months time (the last payment of the remaining balance will be due on December 1st)

If you are a owner of a buisness, big or small, you can become a sponor for me. If you so choose, you will need to provide me with the name of your buisness and a mininmum donation of $100. In doing so, the name of your buisness will be added to the IMTA program book for the week. This is a great way to get the name of your buisness seen by potentially hundreds of individuals.
