Lighthouse Special Needs Care

My name is Justin Mathew and I am a Special Education Life Skills Teacher at Sunnyvale High School in Sunnyvale, Texas. My goal is to raise enough money to be able to start a center for children and adults with Special Needs in the Dallas area, because once they age out of school many of them do not get the proper continuing education or job training that they need to be independent. I want to be able to provide job training, life skills, resources, and even meet medical needs such as Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. 

What drives this passion? A guy named Patrick, he inspired me to want to help children with Special Needs during Special Olympics and came with me when I volunteered. Patrick and I had a vision to train, tutor and even provide care for hundreds of kids. 

Unfortunately, Patrick passed away in a car accident when we were on a mission trip. Losing Patrick as a brother and a mentor was the hardest thing, but I want to keep our dream alive so that we can help people who really need to be cared for and advocated for. 

Lighthouse Special Needs Care Inc. is a non-profit organization with it's 501c3 status pending. Personally it is a ministry to advocate, support and care for those with Special Needs.
