On Saturday, March 29th, many of my Fellowship classmates and I will go to Designs for Hope, a nonprofit organization in Trussville, Alabama. There, we will build solar cubes to provide electricity to those without. These solar cubes go to many third world countries, the main one being Africa. It is an engaging and collaborative event where participants come together to design and construct solar-powered cube-shaped structures using various materials. To pay for these materials, we are looking to raise $150 per cube. Once they have been delivered, we will be able to learn about the good they are doing in the community where they end up.
