Light the Dream Phase II - Light the Lower Field

Dear Northern Highlands Community:
The Northern Highlands Sports Association (NHSA) is launching the Light the Dream Phase II - Light the Lower Field campaign. We are asking for donations to help purchase additional field lights, lights which are needed to illuminate the lower fields. The need to use the lower fields has increased greatly, but can't be met without additional lights.
Our initial campaign goal to raise $468,000 and install four additional light poles this summer has begun in earnest. We are proud to announce that we have been able to raise nearly half of this total. In addition, to help jump-start this project, the NHRHS Board of Education installed a light pole last summer. We are targeting to break ground in June, after school ends and therefore our ask to raise the remaining funds through the generous support of the community i.
Benefits:
- Great campus enhancement to NHRHS programs and activities. The lights on the turf field from Phase I have made a significant impact to our facility, teams and community.
- We look forward to being able to offer even more practice and game time for our youth, community and NH teams on the lower field. Each dollar raised will be realized tenfold by the community’s use of this facility.
- Tremendous benefit to all of our sending districts. For many years, the recreational coaches and directors of youth sport programs from Allendale, Upper Saddle River, Saddle River, and Ho-Ho-Kus have requested and been granted significant use of the high school’s fields for soccer, football, baseball, softball, field hockey and lacrosse.
Northern Highlands is one of the finest schools in the state and our students deserve state-of-the-art facilities for which they can be proud. Your contribution will brighten the future of our children for decades to come.

More information about Northern Highlands Regional High School Sports Association Inc.: The NHSA is a Non-Profit Group of Parents and Community Members from Allendale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Upper Saddle River and Saddle River who, through their financial backing, support the Student Athletes and Coaches of ALL Sports Programs at Northern Highlands Regional High School. In addition to facility upgrade projects like "Light the Dream", every year the NHSA evaluates and grants "Wish List Items" submitted by Coaches for equipment or training that can enhance their programs for the Student Athletes.
