I want to challenge you to think differently. To believe that every single compassionate moment in our lives makes a difference. I've dreamt of volunteering in Africa for many years, but I never moved forward because I simply didn't believe I could do "enough". What impact could I make in the time I was allotted away from work?
Then I realized something BIG about SMALL things.
The answer is: Every Step Matters
I will be volunteering over Christmas 2017at a home for children in Africa called "Light in Africa". Where I will spend time playing, sewing, cleaning and giving lots of hugs and kisses to all the babies. I want to raise $10,000 before my trip, so I can make the biggest impact possible before and during my time there.
Light in Africa is home for displaced children in Tanzania. Since 2000 they have given over 350,000 children food, shelter, education and most importantly hope and love.
ALL donations will be sent directly to the organization from GoFundMe.
My entire trip has been self-funded and will not come from these donations.
Donations will be used for:
-Food
-Uniforms
-Scholarships for Secondary School & Nursing School
-Schools Supplies
-Medical Supplies
-Baby Blankets
-Tooth Brushes
Changing the world is about a million little steps, that we all take together.
