As all of you know, Lecia and Steve Shockley have been walking a difficult and inspiring path over the last 18 months. As they've navigated life changes with Steve's brain tumor diagnosis in the early fall of 2024, they've amazed us with their kindness, humor, dignity, and deep friendships. Then, on top of the health issues, a leak in their kitchen was discovered that required new plumbing, flooring, asbestos abatement, and a costly move-out. Much of this, about $20,000, is not covered by insurance.

This Go Fund Me campaign is a way to help offset that significant expense. In this season of love and hope, this is a way for the many folks that have wanted to help to do so in a concerted way. Lecia has graciously (and reluctantly) allowed us to make this ask. She is touched and grateful for the "angels" in their lives, and that God's people would even consider this.

This campaign is an additional way to provide a bit of financial support in recognition of the deluge of costs that have come at the most challenging time.
