Lifting Me Higher - Folding Hoist

Hi, 

Thanks for visiting my gofundme page.

Let explain why I'm asking for your help, I have cerebral palsy, I have significant physical care needs, for this I am extremely grateful to be supported by the Scottish independent living fund, in conjunction with Angus council social work to financially enable me to employ my own personal assistants. I also am supplied by the NHS with all the equipment I need at home, which I could not be more grateful for!

My hoist that I have at home however is heavy and non foldable, this makes staying away from home over night extremely difficult and can mean expensive taxi rides home or not being able to access social activities at all.

 I also have a keen interest in politics and to have a hoist that I could take with me wherever I need to go would open so many doors for me.

 I would like to be able to fund this myself and its not easy for me to ask you for help, but my personal funds are very gratefully received but limited as, rightly, most of it goes toward funding my care package which enables me to live as independently as possible.

Any funds raised will be used to purchase this special folding hoist, sling and transportation bag, that for entirely understandable reasons the NHS are unable to fund.
