Life-Saving Treatment for Ramon Hodridge

Ramón Hodridge is a father, a son, a brother, a friend, and most important a man of God. He is a lifelong resident of Texas with deep roots in North Texas. Ramón has always had the heart and mind to help others. He has tirelessly demonstrated this through his work as a Caseworker for Child Protection Services and as a minster, baptizing over 500 souls. Ramón is always helping others and going the extra mile to get it done.
He has:

o Douglas Community Neighborhood Association (Plano, TX), Board Member
o Dallas Youth for Christ, Board Member
o Plano Child Care Learning Academy, Board Member
o Former Board member for Habitat for Humanity of Collin County
o Former President of Southwestern Christian College Alumni Association Board
o Former Board Member of Henry V. Petter Endowment Fund
· Started a non-profit called AFFECT Incorporated focused on helping and improving families in the greater Dallas Fort Worth Area. Since 2010:
o 7,838 Families received a complete Thanksgiving meal
o 2,325 Families received health care services
o 1,623 Families received low cost fresh food for healthy living
o 896 Children received support services (college prep, mentoring, summer camp, and counseling)
o 239 Individuals (unemployed or underemployed) received job coaching and resume writing
It’s now our turn to help our friend, our brother, our minster. We need to help him so he can continue to help others. In 2015 Ramón contracted Lyme disease. Although he thought it was cured it was simply dormant in his body. Due to some stresses of life, the Lyme disease has returned causing short-term memory loss, dementia, limited mobility, and the growth of brain tumors. The doctors said his brain was that of a 65-year-old with early onset dementia, Ramón is 39 years old. Most recently he started having migraines; not realizing he had tumors growing in his brain—both on the left and right side. The doctors told him he has about 3 years left to live, without treatment.
Through research and prayer, we have found Envita Medical Center. Envita combines western & eastern medicine mapped to your specific DNA make up. Ramón has had a few initial consultations with the facility, and we are encouraged that the treatment will make a positive impact on his wellbeing and health. The treatment at Envita is holistic and will require Ramón to relocate to Arizona for 10-14 weeks. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance because of the use of nonwestern medicine.
Our goal is raise $150,000; this will cover all of the cost. Every dollar counts. Reach in your hearts and wallets to help our brother, our friend, a man of God.
