Lifesaving medical care for Isis

my name is Eden, and my baby sister Isis is going through a tough time medically right now. She started having some laboured breathing 2 days ago, and this morning, I brought her to the vet. They told me I’d have to bring her to emergency and it was a shock to find out that she likely has a heart condition that creates thickening in the left ventricle that makes it less efficient to pump blood leaving her with fluid buildup around her lungs and heart. After a non invasive drain, she seems to be making improvements and we have made the decision to do whatever we can to help give her the healthiest longest life possible. Thankfully the condition is treatable but not curable. With ICU stay, a cardiologist, and proper medication she can see an extension of life by 18 months. Since she is 18 years old that would be amazing. My late brother, Dylan chose and named Isis and she is a major tether to him still. I want to give her every single chance I possibly can to live healthily.
