Hi, I’m Lacey... a disabled trans musician and voice teacher in Chicago. While I’m working hard and studying toward a higher-paying job to build a secure future, an unexpected disaster just set me back significantly: my car spontaneously combusted in its parking space.

I never expected to open my door and find my car engulfed in flames.

The financial ripple effect of this fire has made my current living situation unsustainable and is hindering my attempt to move to a more affordable location. I need help raising funds to transition into a lower cost apartment and a serviceable used car so I can stabilize while recovering from the damage.

As a disabled creator working toward a career transition, I cannot navigate this emergency alone. If you have the means to donate or share this campaign, you’ll be giving me the lifeline I need to get back on my feet. Thank you for your kindness and solidarity!
