Life saving treatment for Fig

Figaro was just diagnosed with a rare disease called FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). The United States does not have an FDA approved drug at this time and all cases of this disease are 100% fatal. Our little Fig is only 10 months old.
My vet mentioned a new drug that is having amazing results but it is very expensive and not readily available here because it is still considered experimental at this time. I have done a lot of research and found an amazing group on Facebook, FIP Warriors, that has taken it upon themselves to get these lifesaving drugs into our hands and will help walk us through the treatment process to get Fig healthy again.
Here’s is the only problem, the treatment is very expensive. The cheapest form of this potentially life saving medication will cost well over $2000. He will need daily injections for 84 days. He will also need additional veterinary support. All of this in addition to immune system supplements, and the supplies I will need to administer his medication is going to add up quickly.
If you know me, you know that I am not the type of person to ask for help but I am truly desperate. This is his only shot at surviving and couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t try to do something to save him. If you find it in your heart to help Fig I will be eternally grateful. I promise that one day I will pay it forward. Thank you
