Life-Saving Cancer Treatment for my Mum

Donation protected

Hello everyone!

I'm appealing to you all on behalf of my wonderful mum, Nicky.

Mum has not had an easy life, but even in difficult times, she is always focused on blessing others with words and deeds of kindness.  She has a real gift for encouraging and uplifting those around her!

In 2009 mum was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and after extensive surgery, chemotherapy and radiation she was given the all-clear.

At the end of August she started to have a backache which she thought was nothing major but nonetheless went to her GP to get it checked out. At the end of September, we received the heartbreaking news that no family wants to hear. My mum's cancer has returned and once again we are having to fight a tough battle. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned with a vengeance and has spread to her spine, pelvis and ribs, with a classification as advanced stage 4.

The treatment that has been offered to my mum in the UK consists of chemotherapy but unfortunately, this is not an option we can take. After my mum's original battle with breast cancer in 2009, she suffered from severe after-effects and she cannot face this again. Due to having chemotherapy she was faced with extreme exhaustion, vomiting and brain fog amongst others. Chemotherapy kills the immune system rather than training the body's own immune system to fight the cancer.

Due to my mum's other persistent long-term health conditions (namely CFS and hypothyroidism) she deals with extreme exhaustion and fatigue on a daily basis. The thought of chemotherapy enhancing these pre-existing sufferings is truly an unbearable one for both her and me. My mum's constant exhaustion makes this battle a much harder one for us to face.

We have opted for a more natural and holistic treatment route. I have returned from university and have dedicated all of my time to supporting my mum. My days are spent juicing vegetables and ensuring my mum has her full range of vitamins and supplements as well as acting as her general carer. I wouldn't have it any other way, but as much as I research about natural cures, in the same way that a sick person goes to a doctor, my mum needs to be seen by an alternative therapy doctor and receive expert care. I love my mum and support her decision to opt for natural treatment so have been doing everything in my power to ensure this is effective. However, now it is time to accept this will not be possible without your help.

An opportunity for world-renowned treatment has presented itself and we know this to be the best option. All of the money raised will be going towards treatment at the Oasis of Hope Hospital (alternative cancer treatment) in Mexico. This is 3 weeks of intensive treatment, most importantly, it is holistic care focusing on both the medical and spiritual aspects of recovery. It doesn't just focus on shrinking tumours, but rather on the whole person as a whole.

The treatment includes both IV vitamin C and IV vitamin K3,  Ozone therapy, Hyperthermia, IV Amygdalin, amongst other effective therapies. It also includes a dendritic cell vaccine which targets the patient's specific tumours and has had great success.

The difference with this treatment is that instead of targeting and destroying the immune system as chemotherapy does, it instead enhances the immune system and kicks it into action so that it can fight off cancer. Any extra money raised will go towards the cost of return flights to Mexico, health supplements and organic vegetables that seem to be costing the world.

We want to give my mum the best fighting chance at beating cancer and we are sure this treatment is the way to go. Recovery rates at the Oasis of Hope hospital are 3 times higher than US traditional treatments (such as chemotherapy). and it has been operating for 56 years, receiving and treating 100,000 patients in that time. It is world-renowned as one of the best centres for alternative medicine, founded by Dr Ernesto Contreras.

The only problem is the cost of the treatment. The core treatment plan is $19975 and the enhanced program is $27500. It is also recommended to return 3 months later for one week of follow-up treatment which costs $10000.

While many people may choose to go down the chemotherapy route, this is not something my mum wants to have to endure once again and the treatment we believe she needs isn't covered by the NHS (as wonderful as it is). Mum has not had an easy life, but even in difficult times, she is always focused on blessing others with words and deeds of kindness.  She has a real gift for encouraging and uplifting those around her, and I really hope that we can now all rally around and support her!

I'm appealing to you because no one should have to lose their mum, especially at this young age.  This may not mean a lot to you, but to me, it is truly my mum's last hope. Any support you could offer, regardless of the amount, would be very appreciated and so helpful in our mission to regaining my mum's health.

Lots of love,
Giselle x
