Many of you know that my cousin Fred Neubecker has been ill for a very long time. Recently over the past 3 years his health has gradually declined, and all of his health conditions have continued to worsen. Within the past few months he has been hospitalized twice due to worsening symptoms from his congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation along with other diseases. During both of those occurrences his blood pressure dropped very low and required his family to call emergency services. After spending a short time in the hospital he was sent home with different medication changes and treatments but Fred still returns to work quickly after he is released in fear of not being able to provide enough for his family. He and his family have begun the process to get him on disability but because of the lack of funds, he is forced to continue working. The process of social security disability is quite complicated and is a very long journey before payment or even acceptance is attained. Last week during a cardiologist appointment Fred was told that he needs to have a pacemaker implanted to help his heart handle the worsening of his CHF. The news of him needing this surgery was even more proof that he needs to quit his job and fight for disability. The money from this campaign will help his family transition through the six months waiting period and allow him to have the surgery and start healing and hopefully become healthier from the comfort of his home. This is an urgent need as his many different doctors have told him that if he continues to work and put such a strain on his health, he will likely die soon. Please help my cousin to start healing and add some quality years to his life.
Thank you for whatever you can do to help Fred and this wonderful family. God Bless You!
