Ivy May was diagnosed in February 2019 with cancer, she battled hard and you wouldn't have know she had this terrible disease in 3 areas of her body.
She passed away in November 2019. No matter what her own health issues, she never let anyone down. She would be social and her loving vibrant self.
Cancer is a disease, that is non judgmental. These days most people will have lost a love one with this condition. Last year almost 400 people are diagnosed each day, and approximately 150 die each day.
I am fundraising to help support local Mildura organisations/families and friends have more access to resources and support. As a rural town, we all need financial and emotional support. All the money I raise I hope makes someone else life a little bit easier to deal with the condition.
If you know Ivy, she wouldn't have taken anything from anyone. So, as part of my fundraising I will be shaving my hair on Friday 13th March, as another way to remember mum.
Please help support, our local community.
