So much more life to live

I've known something was wrong for a while, but as a busy mother of two I've always put my own health as a last priority. After a year of increasingly awful chest pains, hair loss, joint pain, cognitive dysfunction, reoccurring infections and more I finally found out that one of my 7 year old silicone breast implants most likely has a small rupture caught on an MRI that I had to beg for and pay for our of pocket.

Because this is a complication from a previous (and regrettable) cosmetic surgery, insurance has refused to pay for the MRI or the surgery to remove the ruptured implant. It's been 4 months since I found out about the rupture and have been trying desperately to save the money so that I can have the implants removed.

The longer the silicone is allowed to remain in the body, the more time it has to migrate to other parts of your body. Once the silicone has moved to other parts of your body, it can’t be removed and may cause other health problems.

All I can think about are my two young children and husband. It is my greatest joy to be there for them and each day that passes becomes more difficult to be the mother and wife that I want to be. My husband has been working his butt off to try and make extra money. I have also been working over-time to try and help, while being the primary caregiver for our two children. We do not have a babysitter, nanny or daycare.

At the end of the day I am beyond humbled to reach out to total strangers asking for help. Any little bit would help restore my health sooner than later and hopefully before it's too late.
