WHO ARE WE?
My name is Shane Hodges, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Colorado. For the past ten years I have been working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with a wide variety of mental health challenges. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable setting for clients to be heard. This work is important to me and brings me an overwhelming sense of purpose. I do my best to assist each client that reaches out for help. However, I realized early on that I alone can not meet the needs of EVERY client. That realization is what led me to create Life Balance Connections.
Life Balance Connections is a select group of therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, treatment facilities, and other healing & wellness professionals. Our goal is to maintain integrity and professionalism in meeting the mental health needs of our community members. WHAT WE WISH TO ACCOMPLISH!
My goal is to create a website which will serve as the hub for mental health professionals as well as members of the community who may be struggling to live their best lives.
The website, LifeBalanceConnections.com, will create a "one-stop shop" for the mental health community. It will allow members to efficiently work together in reaching the best possible outcomes for those in need of counseling, treatment, and resources.
Some of the website benefits will be as follows:
1. Members of Life Balance Connections
-Assistance in building up their practice through referrals from members and potential clients
-Allowing a direct connection with other professionals
-Presenting them with professional resources in one convenient location
-Getting feedback and answers to professional questions
2. Individuals needing mental health counseling & resources
-Provide them with a list of trusted and experienced wellness professionals
-Offer a list of mental health resources within the community
3. Treatment facilities
-Offer a list of trusted healing professionals available for referrals
-Provide an additional forum for marketing & advertising their services
The goal of Life Balance Connections is to provide community members and potential clients with quality information and mental health resources.
HOW WILL YOUR DONATIONS HELP?
Your support would bring about the next phase in a project that has been four years in the making. This website will help create something that's been missing in our community...a place where mental health professionals AND those in need of mental health assistance can come together. A single place to find the support, resources, and information they need to grow and better themselves.
It would mean a great deal to me if you were able to help in bringing this dream to life. Thank you in advance to those of you who are able to contribute to what I believe is a significant resource for the mental health community.
The majority of the funds received (approximately 80% or more) will be used to pay for the design and initial implementation of the website. The remainder of funds will go toward ongoing maintenance and marketing of the site. The majority of the funds are needed with the next 30-45 days.
