Life assist for Vai Tepaki

Dear families, friends & everyone around the world.
May we all come together for the sake of a Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Nefew, Cousin & Son. I am the youngest daughter of Vai Tepaki and also writing on his behalf.
Vai has been paralyzed for over 5 years with the help of carers for his daily needs 24/7. My mother/His wife, Nora, Works full time and comes home to look after him aswell. It has been a major struggle for them to look after dad physically, emotionally, and financially. but out of love and committment is the reason he is still here after all the times we may have lost him within these years.
Vai is needed to be fed, bathed, massaged, changed, given a drink when thirsty, carried out of bed and wheelchaired to a bathroom if needed to empty out his bladder & bowel, and of course much more to the extent where it is physically demanding. Within the past year, Vai has sadly ended up with a collapsed lung which leaves him one left to support his breathing, which is sadly not 100% helpful, so he needs to use machines that he had been eligible for to help his breathing and to flush out toxic fluids from his body daily. Vai has been in excruciating pain since leaving ICU when had been on Life-support.
Unfortunately, the machine that he has been using for a while to help with his breathing, to help him cough & flush out the toxic fluids from his body, he is no longer eligible for & will be taken off him this coming week. Which means once that's gone, he will struggle to breathe, will be unable to cough & will be in much more pain to a point where it may be unbearable. Due to being financially unstable for my family, as all the money worked for goes on bills for my father from the use of his machines, many medications & paid to carers, we are in the unlucky position to being unable to purchase a brand new Cough/Life assist machine of his own which costs $10,000. Sadly without this machine, it may be a life & death situation due to this being the main supportive machine for his breathing, we do not want him to reach the worse once this is taken off him. My father has all of us by his side, & we will never leave it whether we can make this fundraise successfully or not. Vai was an active man, always there for everybody who ever needed help even in times where its his last bit of money, he was always there. I'd also like to show dad that there are also people out there just like him in his time of need. If we could all Fundraise for Vai Tepaki, to keep this strong being breathing smoothly & not have to worry about the worse when this Machine is taken off him, we will all be forever greatful.
