My cousin Lida Sedrakyan, wife and mother to two beautiful kids was diagnosed with stage 1 Carcinoma cancer on December 19, 2017. Carcinoma is a type of cancer that develops on the tissue that lines the internal organs. In her case, it is in her reproductive organs. Because cancer cells are actively spreading in her abdomen she has already begun chemotherapy.
She was misdiagnosed in Armenia for several months until recently when she had a minor procedure where they were able to take a sample of the tumor and properly diagnose it with the help of other doctors from England and Germany. She is going to need surgery where they will remove all of her reproductive organs as they are severely damaged. Because it is a very rare and complex case, she will have to have her surgery done in Germany in approximately 2-3 weeks.
Going through this treatment will be quite expensive. Her health insurance does not cover chemotherapy or surgery. I have created this account to assist Lida and her family with the financial difficulties that lie ahead of them in the upcoming months.
Here are some things you should know about Lida. Lida is 32-years-old, lives in Yerevan, Armenia with her loving husband Stepan, their five-year-old daughter Sona, and one-year-old son Mark. She is a loving and caring person who has spent the last ten plus years helping others as a pharmacist. She is accustomed to helping people through difficult times such as these, however, no one is truly prepared to handle it themselves. We all have been shaken by the devastating news.
I am asking my friends and family to please help us support Lida and her family. She is loved by all of those that know her. The amount above will help cover her surgery, chemotherapy and post-surgery treatments, so anything you can do will be wonderful and greatly appreciated.
