La Libreria Pino ha iniziato a vendere libri online nel 2011 agli italiani residenti nella Bay Area e negli Stati Uniti. Continuando ad appassionare una maggiore clientela, la Libreria Pino ha aperto il suo primo punto vendita fisico a North Beach, lo storico quartiere italiano di San Francisco. Da un pop-up al 1412 Grant Avenue ad uno spazio permanente al 548 Union Street nel 2017, la Libreria Pino ha dunque contribuito a divulgare l'interesse per la letteratura e la lingua italiana.
Grazie per l’amore e il sostegno che avete condiviso con la Libreria Pino negli ultimi dieci anni! Mentre entriamo nel prossimo decennio insieme, ci chiediamo come potervi servire al meglio. Una delle sfide che ci impegniamo ad affrontare sarà quella di dare ai nostri clienti l'accesso a più titoli, una maggiore selezione e una migliore esperienza in uno spazio più grande di quello attuale.

Libreria Pino began selling Italian books online in 2011 to the local San Francisco Bay Area Italian community as well as Italian speakers throughout the United States. Continuing to grow and expand its base, Libreria Pino opened its first physical retail space in North Beach, the historical Italian neighborhood in San Francisco. From a pop-up at 1412 Grant Avenue to a more permanent space at 548 Union Street in 2017, Libreria Pino has continued to grow.
Thank you for the outpouring of love and support you’ve shared of Libreria Pino over the past ten years. As we enter the next ten years we are asking ourselves how we can better serve you. One of the challenges is the limitations in the size of our current retail space. We want to provide our customers access to more books, more titles, greater selection and an improved customer experience.

We believe that 1501 Grant Avenue provides us with the opportunity to not only meet our challenges well, but also to provide the North Beach neighborhood with key destination space that is welcoming to all.
At 1501 Grant Avenue we hope to create an Italian bookstore that is open, bright, and welcoming. A place where people can come and experience new ideas and languages. And add value to North Beach and the community.

Il nostro nuovo spazio sarà quasi tre volte più grande del 548 Union Street! Avremo un bagno completamente conforme all'ADA, posti a sedere e tavoli, corridoi più ampi ... e più libri. Questo spazio extra ci darà anche l'opportunità di avere un'area dedicata a eventi e incontri per i nostri amici e i bookclub.

Our new space will be almost three times the size if 548 Union Street! We will have a fully ADA-compliant bathroom, expanded seating and tables, wider aisles…and more books. This extra room also gives us the opportunity to have a much needed area dedicated to events and meetings for our friends and bookclubs.

Il nuovo spazio avrà bisogno di alcuni importanti miglioramenti che prevedono circa 6-9 mesi per il completamento. Abbiamo bisogno del vostro aiuto per costruire nuove pareti, un pavimento e un soffitto ... nuove finestre e illuminazioni, nuovi bagni e ripostigli, nuovi tavoli, sedie, scaffali ... e ovviamente più libri! Aiutateci a raccogliere 125mila dollari per costruire un bellissimo spazio, e assicurarci un futuro con a voi a North Beach!

The new space has been vacant for a while and needs some major improvements, which we expect will take 6-9 months to complete. We need your help to build new walls, a floor, and ceiling…new windows and lighting…new bathroom and storage areas…new tables, chairs, and bookshelves…and of course more books!
