Liberty Rose’s recovery is looking Good

The newest addition to our family needs your help!  We just Rescued Liberty Rose,  a 4 yr old Bernese Mountain dog. She was cruelly used  in a puppy mill situation to produce countless puppies for profit. When the puppy mill no longer considered her useful a local Rescue organization was able to step in and give her a second chance to find a loving home.  Despite her past she is the sweetest most grateful dog! We adopted her 10 days ago hoping to give her a warm and loving home just in time for Christmas. After what should have been a routine spay surgery she experienced complications and had to return to the operating room only hours later.  She lost a great deal of blood during the surgery which required many internal sutures to stop the bleeding along with a blood transfusion.  Unfortunately, things went south post op and she needed a 3rd emergency surgery to remove  an infection that had developed only a week later.  During that procedure our local veterinarian  realized something was not right, one of her ureters which is essential for eliminating (urinating) was entangled within the infected tissue... a skilled specialist surgeon that handles micro surgeries must now go in yet again to fix the problem and hopefully set her on the final path to recovery. Liberty has quickly become a very loving member of our family.  She is the sweetest dog and deserves the fullest life has to offer her. We realize this is a huge ask but it is a very real problem we are now faced with. This surgery is complicated but essential to Her survival. We have been quoted $7,000 for her surgery alone and this does not include the required ultrasound and inevitable post op recovery costs. Time unfortunately is not on our side and we are trying to quickly raise whatever we can towards our goal to get her better. We appreciate anything you can contribute.
