On July 5th, Macho Liberti's father, Timothy, was admitted to ICU for an exasperation of the rare autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis. His condition worsened into a myasthenia crisis causing respiratory distress and him being intubated.
Tim's stay in the hospital has had many complications setting back his recovery. Macho has been with his dad every day and spending overnights at the hospital advocating and helping care for his father.
Macho has exhausted all his paid leave while on FMLA caring for his father and has been on leave without pay for close to 3 weeks now. Macho was denied a sick leave transfer by his employer which would have provided additional paid leave through donations from fellow employees.
With savings depleted, the Liberti family needs some help. Any donation will be a huge help.
