<div>Soy de Ecuador. Un esposo, un hombre de familia, y mi único sueño siempre ha sido construir un futuro seguro y unido junto a los míos. Soy una persona honrada que llego a Estados Unidos como migrante, con el objetivo de salir adelante con mi familia, y con muchos sueños. Pero ese sueño se rompió el 6 de agosto.

<div>Ese día, asistí a mi corte con fe y esperanza. Sin embargo, en un giro devastador, oficiales de migración entraron a la sala y se me llevaron detenido, junto a otras personas. Ahora, mi realidad es una celda, lejos de mi esposa y de todo lo que conozco como hogar.

<div>La situación en la que estoy es desesperada. Sin un abogado, mis posibilidades de defenderme y demostrar que merezco estar con mi familia son casi nulas. Los honorarios de un abogado de inmigración especializado son altísimos (alrededor de $15,000 USD), y desde aquí, detenido, no tengo forma de reunir ese dinero. Mi esposa está haciendo lo imposible por fuera, pero nosotros solos no podemos.

<div>Por eso hoy, con toda la humildad del mundo, me dirijo a ustedes. Necesito su ayuda para pagar la defensa legal que me permita luchar por mi libertad. Cada dólar que donen no es solo dinero; es una contribución directa a mi defensa, es un paso más para que pueda abrazar de nuevo a mi esposa y es un rayo de esperanza en medio de esta pesadilla.
