As some of you may be aware, our beloved brother Liban Barre has returned to his Lord. Liban was always the one with the brightest smile in any room, his laugh was contagious and his humor was next to none. If you ever had the pleasure to be around him, then you know that his joy affected everyone he was around. A 23 year old son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. He was filled with compassion, love, ideas , and was also someone that wanted to make a difference in the world.
We have set up this gofundme to collect Sadaqah Jaariyah (charity) on behalf of our brother. We wish to begin projects that may be added to his scale on The Day when all of our deeds will be weighed.
There will be projects to help establish multiple wells in his name.
We ask Allah to forgive him and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of the righteous who came beforehand, and forgive us and him. We invoke the Lord of the worlds to expand for him his grave and shed His light upon him in it. O Allah, exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family. Admit him in Paradise as his final abode, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the fire. O Allah, grant patience to his family and friends, and provide them with strength and Iman to recover from this difficult loss. Ameen.
May Allah reward all of you who have contributed in any way, and May this be a means of spreading the legacy of our brother.
