Liam's Top Surgery and Transition Fund

Hi guys! Liam here, I just wanted to give some brief points about what this fundraiser will be going towards. 

As most of us know, I am a transgender person. I'm 20 years old and have finally started my transition on hormones as of April 29th, 2020. Now that I've started HRT I'm planning to try to get top surgery by July-October of 2021. This is a huge step in my transition and the funding will really help. 

As for the surgeons I'm considering, I want to stay local (less than a 2 hour drive from the hospital/center I will be going to.) Most surgeons here in North Carolina do not accept Medicaid so I'm going to have to pay out of pocket. I'm estimating that surgery will cost me in the 6-8k range. Any and all of the money you donate will go towards my surgery costs, consultation costs, accommodations while being seen (if needed), and any other medical expenses I have to take care of. 

Any money that I have left over I will be donating to other trans friends to help with their surgeries/ transitions, or to local LGBT+ charities.
