On Saturday, September 19th, avid Manchester City fan, devoted father, son, friend and husband, Steve Schofield passed away tragically in a car accident near his family home in Brantford, Ontario.
Devoted to his young son Liam, full of life and love, and a frontline worker dedicated to helping others and keeping people safe during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, Steve has left a deep void in the hearts and lives of many, none more so than his young son Liam.
As the Manchester City Official Supporter's Clubs of Toronto and Mississauga, and as part of the global Manchester City F.C family, we are raising funds for a future trust/scholarship for Steve's young son and avid Junior Blue, Liam.
Little Liam is a massive football fan and we would love to be able to help secure him a bright future by raising funds for him to use at a later date, in a way he and his family sees fit.
We know that nothing can help bring Liam's daddy back to continue to mentor him and guide him, love him and encourage him, so we offer anything we can for the young lad and his future, with the hopes and blessings of all of us.
We know times are hard for so many, but please consider donating anything you can for young Liam Schofield's scholarship fund.
