On August 30th, 2017 my dear friend Lia lost her husband of twenty two years. James Raitt passed away unexpectantly from an aortic dissection. His passing is a devastating loss to all who knew him.
It is difficult for those that loved James to imagine a life without him. There will be many changes ahead for Lia as she navigates life without her partner. As you may know, James & Lia purchased their dream home in Escondido just two years ago. Lia would love to stay in their home as long as possible. This is the home they shared and it is filled with special memories that will provide comfort to Lia as she figures out her next steps.
James was the sole income provider for their family, so the loss of his income will be a huge adjustment. Lia is blessed to be surrounded by a strong network of family and friends.
