Too many similar stories.....all with the same outpouring of support!
Our youngest sister was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on Friday, July 13, 2018. Family, friends and co-workers were shocked by the sudden news as her mammogram in 2016 was clear. Since the diagnosis, the doctors suggested a 17-treatment plan to shrink the tumor before surgery. Follow up treatments will be necessary to hopefully mitigate the possibility of cancer returning.
Olivia (we call her Oly) is the youngest of 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She's is very active, outgoing, funny, loving and her glass is alway half full (preferably beer! Lol). She is a single mother of two.....Miguel and Monique. She knows she's not alone and she's staying strong and positive through this battle....... a battle all too familiar to many of us.
She is still working full-time and, although her insurance will cover a portion of the medical bills, her treatment schedule will require frequent travel to CTCA in Phoenix; consequently, work and income will be impacted. We are asking for your support, prayers and good wishes to help her on the long road ahead.
Her faith, strong will, medical care and support from family, friends, co-workers and 'her newest friends' (online donors), will sustain her as she endures this difficult journey ahead.
