LHS 2021 Post Prom

WHO: The Post Prom Committee- a group of volunteer parents that want to help provide a safe and fun evening for kids after the big dance.
WHAT: Post Prom is an event held at a separate location from the school or Paramount Theatre that typically has activities, competitive games, music, food and raffle prizes
WHERE: TBA we have a lot of great things in the works!!
WHEN: The fun begins shortly after the Prom wraps up
WHY: The Post Prom is an event ran by volunteers and funded by donations. While we work WITH the admins of the school, we are a separate group and the school does not fund our event. In years past, we have relied on a few go-to fundraisers and business donations to make this awesome night happen for your kids. Due to Covid, we haven’t been able to fundraise in ways that were previously successful, most notably our yard sale during the Village Fair. Because of this, we are turning to the safest and most effective way we can think of to get the needed resources…crowdfunding. We plan to use the donations to rent a space for the event as well as pay for any vendors and prizes needed. In the unfortunate event that Prom and Post Prom would be canceled, we will still use these funds to provide gifts or gift cards for the Prom attendees as we did in 2020 so that kids can have SOMETHING. We do want to note that at this time, we are being told to plan like it is happening.
