RN going to Belize

Hi, my name is Shannon and I am currently a practicing Registered Nurse working at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am going to be traveling to Belize for 4 weeks volunteering my skills as a nurse to a population that is severely understaffed in nursing, as well as basic availability to medical services and equipment.
It has been a goal and dream of mine to be able to travel and work as a nurse in areas that are less fortunate, however volunteering is not cheap. Asking for money is awkward, but hey, that is what GoFundMe is for. Any donations will go directly towards the cost of the program, and anything extra will go towards acquiring medical supplies to bring with me.
