LGBT Unity Fundraiser

LGBT Unity Glasgow/Scotland are working to support their vulnerable members and here at Vogue Scotland, we are spreading the word to anyone who can help to raise donations for those affected.

The lasting impact of Covid 19 and related restrictions will be with us for a long time. Asylum seekers and refugees have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic, many in section-4 support and unable to buy supplies and food. Many others receive no support and are destitute without any or suitable accommodation.

LGBT Unity are currently providing an average of £850 worth of resources a week which means that to provide supplies to meet people’s basic needs costs at least £10,200 a year.

Last year we raised £4,900 to support LGBT Unity to deliver essential support to LGBTQIA asylum seekers and refugees. With this funding LGBT Unity provided phone data and top ups, food, and clothes. 

We are appealing to all our friends and supporters, if you can, to kindly support LGBT Unity and asylum seekers and refugees.

 



LGBT Unity also provide emotional, practical and peer support.
